charmed by the coast to coast stay!
secure place packed breakfast comfy room
I was actually surprised by the secure place for my bike. This was a major plus, i opted for the packed breakfast and lunch since i was leaving early the next morning, it was convenient. the food was home cooked by tony, the vegetable soup with lamb was delicious and the brownie with ice cream was a treat. i felt charmed by the comfy single room.

warm staff great breakfast super clean beds
I found the staff very warm and cute. Nothing proved too much trouble for them. The beds were super clean and very comfy I must say. The breakfast was great too.
The wall paint had some minor scratches.

A walker's haven , pure and simple
warm welcome packed lunch home-cooked food
The staff offered a warm welcome and quickly showed me to my room. I very much appreciated the option to exchange the usual breakfast for a packed lunch , a thoughtful gesture for my early departure. The home-cooked food was a delight , particularly the beef lasagne.

great coast to coast stopover
clean room comfortable bed excellent food
I stayed for 2 nights. the room was clean and the bed felt comfortable. tony cooked excellent home meals. I especially enjoyed the lamb with mash and vegetables. it's a secure place for a bike, with an optional packed breakfast available.
the room was very small and felt a bit dingy. it seemed older and not in the best shape. the price felt slightly off relative to the quality.

the landlord kindly made me a sandwich. the staff was very cute. yvonne and tony were cordial and warm! they always asked if i needed anything.

coast to coast gem
warm welcome large suite quick dry
I arrived soaking wet way before check-in, but the welcome was warm. i got a large family suite instead of a double. two big radiators dried all my gear quickly. we had lunch and dinner. Both were quite lovely.
the shower was not great.

the sunday dinner had excellent portion sizes and was delicious. it was served quickly and arrived piping hot with plenty of fresh vegetables. swapping breakfast for a packed lunch was also great.

the staff were helpful and courteous. they quickly took our wet gear for drying and returned it promptly the next morning. management was accommodating to every request, and it.
